Description
This luxury 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment is located on a 4-star resort on the edge of the traditional fishing village of Burgau in the Western Algarve.

- En-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, bidet, and overhead shower.
- 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds that can be joined to form a double bed.
- 2nd bathroom also including bath and overhead shower.
- Lounge with 2 sofas, dining table and chairs with seating for up to 6 people, coffee table, flat-screen LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system.
- Very large balcony (accessible from lounge, bedrooms, kitchen) with sea and village views, built-in barbecue, tables and chairs.
- Fully-fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle.
- Wall-mounted air conditioning / heating units in both bedrooms and lounge.
- Electric shutters in bedrooms and lounge.
- Underfloor heating in both bathrooms.
- Very large private roof terrace for all-day sun. Equipped with outdoor furniture including dining table and chairs, sun loungers, parasol.

Coast/Beach
Burgau beach is a short walk (just over 5 minutes) from the resort, and there are several other unspoilt beaches in the area. Bugau beach is a safe, beautiful sandy beach with a superb beach bar / restaurant. The area right next to the resort is ideal for cliff-top walks with stunning views.
Golf
The nearest golf course is at Parque da Floresta (10 minutes by car), and the courses at Boavista and Palmares are also a short drive away (15-20 minutes by car).
Travel
The resort is approximately 1 hour drive from Faro airport (2.5 hours from Lisbon airport), mostly on motorway. We will be glad to arrange taxi transfers from and returning to Faro airport. We can also arrange car hire with pick up and drop off at Faro airport.
Distances
The resort is on the west side of the village of Burgau. This road leads further west to the beautiful beach at Boca do Rio, the wonderful fishing village of Salema (approx. 3km from the resort) and then on to the beaches of Figueira, Zavial, and Ingrina. This direction also takes you to Sagres and the dramatic West coast. East of Burgau is the popular resort of Praia da Luz (5 mins drive). Lagos, with its Marina and walled city, shops, bars and restaurants, is 15 minutes from the resort.
Activities
In addition to golf (there are excellent golf courses at Palmares and Boavista, as well as Parque da Floresta, Penina, and Morgado do Reguengo), local activities include:
