Villa 'Ponto da Vista' enjoys a hilltop location within the prestigious 'Funchal Ridge' area just a few minutes from Lagos town and its wonderful beaches.
There are views towards mountains and the sea.
The villa has recently been renovated and modernised to a very high standard and benefits from all modern conveniences including high-speed internet, a modern fully-equipped kitchen, and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Within the extensive, landscaped gardens are a padel tennis court (standard size 20 x 10 m), putting green, boules court, heated swimming pool (10 x 4 m), jacuzzi, and lovely lawned areas. If you or your family members enjoy being active, you will love staying at 'Ponto da Vista'.
If you prefer just to relax and unwind during your holiday, you can enjoy the peace and quiet in one of the many seating/sunbathing areas around the property.
There are so many things to do here that you might not want to venture far from the villa but - if you do want to get out and about - it is just a short walk/drive to Lagos town with its great selection of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and other amenities and attractions.
The heated pool has sun terraces on 3 sides as well as a shaded seating area.
Next to the pool is an outdoor bar with bar stools - ideal for sitting and enjoying a sangria or glass of local wine!
For outdoor dining, there is a lovely outdoor dining table and chairs and a Weber gas barbecue.
All bedrooms are very comfortably furnished, and the huge master bedroom is very light and airy with panoramic views.
Please note that the area in which this property is located has strict regulations regarding noise disturbance.
Loud noise is not permitted between 23:00-08:00, which means that this property is more suited to guests who are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and is NOT suitable for guests who like to party late, festivalgoers, etc.

The perfect family retreat for fun and relaxation

We are a family with 4 x age 20 something children and wanted a villa that would provide amenities to appeal to everyone. The fantastic padel tennis court , pitch and put area, heated pool, dart board and bar area with shaded sofa spot were all areas that we enjoyed on a daily basis. The villa had beautiful landscsped gardens and Mountain View’s and we all had enough space to do our own thing. The location was perfect to access local shops, get groceries or come to the marina or Lagos town. Destination algarve were great in the communication and during our stay it was our daughters 21st so they were very helpful in organising a chef to come and cook a special meal for us. The welcome items were a lovely touch and the kitchen had a decent selection of pots/pans/serving plates etc. We had a really fantastic stay and would recommend this villa and it’s somewhere we would book again.

We chose the bedroom with the ensuite and left the children to occupy the other two shared bathrooms and the bed was not particularly big but comfy. It also had 2 single divans on it rather than one larger one which would have been preferable. The tsee more

It also had 2 single divans on it rather than one larger one which would have been preferable. The top bedroom was very spacious with a lovely patio but we wanted the privacy of our own ensuite. One of the bedrooms had very little storage/hanging space for your clothes so would benefit from a small wardrobe or extra drawers adding.

We absolutely loved the villa, which is a simply beautiful home and does not feel like "holiday accommodation". The specification of the villa is fabulous, with so many lovely touches, and the views are stunning. We made good use of all the facilitsee more

We did have some issues during our stay and perhaps had to contact Destination Algarve more times than we would have wanted to - at one stage on a virtually daily basis regarding the a/c and the electrics / front gates not opening - which was not idesee more
We did have some issues during our stay and perhaps had to contact Destination Algarve more times than we would have wanted to - at one stage on a virtually daily basis regarding the a/c and the electrics / front gates not opening - which was not ideal on a holiday. We were also sometimes unsure which days the cleaners would be arriving - as they did not come on the days we were originally told they would - so slightly improved communication on this front would be beneficial. Destination Algarve were always very polite, responsive and helpful, however, and none of this altered our view of the villa, which is a stunning place. We also appreciated Destination Algarve returning to us the mobile phone charger we left behind in the villa! Thank you for your help and please pass on our thanks to the villa owners for letting us stay in their beautiful home. We would love to return.
